Local media reports identify the suspect in the New Orleans attack as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, who was allegedly found with an ISIS flag.
Shamsud Din Jabbar, responsible for the New Orleans truck attack, was raised in Texas and served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 2015 to 2020. Reports from Karol Markowicz of the NY Post and Fox News state that he was found with a stolen Glock handgun and a .308 rifle at the time of the attack.
