Volkswagen and Rivian Automotive Consider Joint Venture, German Competition Authority Sees No Major Concerns

Germany’s Volkswagen and U.S. electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian Automotive are considering a joint venture, according to the German competition authority’s announcement on Monday.

Andreas Mundt, the head of the Bundeskartellamt, stated that there are “no significant concerns regarding competition” related to this potential collaboration.
