US Jobless Claims Hold Steady: Initial Claims at 210K, Continuing Claims at 1,807K

The actual initial jobless claims in the US were 210,000, slightly above the previous week’s 209,000, with an estimate of 213,000.

In terms of continuing jobless claims, the actual figure was 1,807,000, slightly lower than the previous week’s 1,811,000, with an estimated 1,820,000.

In the fourth quarter, the US current account deficit was $194.81 billion, compared to an anticipated deficit of $206.6 billion.

Additionally, the revised figure for the US current account deficit in the third quarter is $196.38 billion, revised from the previously reported deficit of $200.3 billion.
