The Chairman of SBI has submitted a compliance affidavit to the Supreme Court, affirming that all information regarding Electoral Bonds, including the alphanumeric numbers, has been disclosed to the Election Commission.

SBI Chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara’s compliance affidavit confirmed the disclosure of the purchaser’s name, bond denomination, and specific encashed bond number. However, complete bank account numbers and KYC details of political parties are being withheld to safeguard account security, along with purchaser KYC details for similar reasons. SBI clarified that besides complete account numbers and KYC details, no other information has been withheld from disclosure.

CJI D.Y. Chandrachud’s Constitution Bench ordered SBI to fully disclose all information. The 5-judge Bench, including Justices Sanjiv Khanna, B.R. Gavai, J.B. Padriwala, and Manoj Misra, instructed SBI to submit an affidavit by Thursday, affirming no details were withheld.

SBI has stated that it has revealed the exact Bond number and has disclosed all information, with the exception of complete bank account numbers and KYC details, which have not been withheld from disclosure.

SBI asserts that it has provided the following details regarding Electoral Bonds.
