Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (DJT), co-founded and mostly owned by Donald Trump, have dropped 50% since his return to the presidency. Last week, the stock hit a 5-month low of $18.59. Tesla’s stock is down 54% from its peak.
This drop happened at the same time as a general decline in the stock market. Major indexes like the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 have also fallen, dropping 4% and 5.5%, respectively, since Trump returned to the White House.
