During Vibrant Gujarat 2024, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) worth a staggering ₹45.2 lakh crore were inked, surpassing the 2019 edition which saw 28,300 MOUs and 98,450 proposed projects.

The most substantial investment commitments were observed in Power, Oil & Gas (₹17.6 lakh crore across 1017 projects), Chemicals, Petrochemicals (₹5.34 lakh crore spanning 3256 projects), and Engineering & Auto (₹5.2 lakh crore distributed among 563 projects).

• DP World to invest 25,000 crore in ports and logistics sector.

• Amul plans 15,000 crore investment for new plants.

• Lulu Group to build India’s largest mall in Ahmedabad.

• Torrent Power to invest 47,000 crore.

• Essar Group to set up 1 GW green hydrogen plant in Jamnagar.

• Avaada Group to invest 40,000 crore to set up 6 GW RE project.

• University of San Diego to set up campus in GIFT city.

• Transworld group to invest 2000 crore to set up ship and aircraft leasing at IFSC, Gift city.

• PayTm to invest 100 crore in GIFT city.
