YouTube experienced an outage affecting users in India, causing issues with uploaded videos not appearing in feeds.
Many users reported the issue on social media, noting problems with video visibility in their YouTube feeds.
Down Detector recorded a significant increase in outage reports starting around 1:47 PM on Monday.
YouTube’s official handle on X acknowledged the problem and stated that they were investigating the issue. They also mentioned they would provide further updates if additional information was needed.
According to Down Detector, 52% of users encountered problems with video uploads. Of these issues, 31% were related to the YouTube app, while 18% were associated with the YouTube website.
