A fire broke out at a shopping center in southwestern China, resulting in a tragic loss of life. According to state media reports on Wednesday, at least six individuals have lost their lives in the incident.
State broadcaster CCTV confirmed the casualties, stating, “Six people have been killed at the moment.” Additionally, the report mentioned that rescue operations are ongoing, with efforts focused on locating and rescuing any remaining individuals affected by the blaze.
Alongside the fatalities, the rescue teams have successfully saved 30 people from the burning shopping center. The teams are actively engaged in search and rescue operations to ensure the safety of all individuals involved in the incident.
