U.S. Auto Safety Regulator Initiates Probe into Zoox Self-Driving Cars Over Braking Concerns

The U.S. auto safety regulator announced on Monday that it will launch a preliminary investigation into around 500 Zoox vehicles, the self-driving car division of Amazon. This action comes after reports indicated that these vehicles, fitted with an Automated Driving System, are experiencing unexpected braking leading to rear-end collisions, according to Reuters.
