Donald Trump Says Iran-Israel Ceasefire Agreed, War to End in 24 Hours

In a statement released today, U.S. President Donald J. Trump announced that Israel and Iran have agreed to a complete and total ceasefire, marking the end of what he called “The 12 Day War.”

> “It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE… for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!” Trump said.

According to Trump, Iran will begin the ceasefire first, followed by Israel after 12 hours. If all goes well, a formal end to the war will be recognized within 24 hours.

He praised both nations for their “Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence”, adding that the conflict “could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t.”

Trump also confirmed that Iran’s missile response to recent U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear facilities caused minimal damage.

> “There have been 14 missiles fired — 13 were knocked down, and 1 was ‘set free’… I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed,” Trump said.

He thanked Iran for giving early notice, which helped prevent casualties. He also expressed hope that “there will, hopefully, be no further hate.”

Trump further extended his gratitude to the Emir of Qatar, noting that no Americans or Qataris were harmed in the missile attacks on the U.S. base in Qatar.

> “God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!” he concluded.

President Trump says:

“Israel & Iran came to me… and said, ‘PEACE!’ I knew the time was NOW. The world & Middle East are the real WINNERS! The future for Israel & Iran is UNLIMITED & filled with great PROMISE. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!”
