Today, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 11,111.25 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 2,517.70 crore.
Among other investor categories, banks sold shares worth Rs 58 lakh, insurance companies bought Rs 227.23 crore, and mutual funds purchased Rs 203.77 crore. Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) sold Rs 5.64 crore, whereas Portfolio Management Services (PMS) bought Rs 4.81 crore. Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) sold Rs 129.18 crore, retail investors offloaded Rs 183.05 crore, and others sold Rs 117.36 crore.
