Facebook and Instagram are experiencing widespread outages, and many users can’t access the platforms. Threads is also affected by the issue.

Thousands of users in the U.S. experienced issues with Facebook and Instagram on Monday, according to the outage tracking site Downdetector.com. More than 12,000 people reported problems with Facebook, and over 5,000 users had trouble with Instagram, as per Downdetector.

When people try to visit Instagram’s website, they see an error message that says, “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on fixing this as quickly as possible.”

More people are reporting the outages as time goes on, and users are turning to other social networks to express their frustrations.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.
