Election Commission Releases Electoral Bond Data Provided by State Bank of India

As per the Supreme Court’s directives, the State Bank of India (SBI) submitted electoral bond data to the Election Commission of India (ECI) on March 12, 2024. Today, the ECI has posted this data on its website, sourced directly from SBI, at the following URL: Electoral Bonds Data

SBI has provided two sets of data:

1. Information on bond purchasers, including their names, purchase dates, and bond denominations.

2. Details of political parties, including names, encashment dates, and bond denominations.

Establishing precise connections between donors and political parties is highly challenging.
