President Trump Says Iranian Sites Were ‘Totally Destroyed,’ Criticizes Media Coverage

President Donald Trump stated that the Iranian military sites targeted by recent U.S. strikes were “totally destroyed,” pushing back against reports suggesting otherwise.

In a social media post, President Trump said even critical media outlets acknowledged the damage as “pretty well destroyed.” He accused major networks like CNN, ABC, and NBC of spreading false narratives and trying to downplay the success of the operation.

Trump added that declining public trust in these outlets is due to what he described as continued biased reporting.

The U.S. Department of Defense has released videos and photos showing seven B-2A “Spirit” stealth bombers from the 509th Bomb Wing taking off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri on the night of June 20. Each bomber was armed with two 30,000-pound GBU-57A/B “bunker buster” bombs. The mission, called “Operation MIDNIGHT HAMMER,” targeted nuclear sites in Iran. Additional reports confirm the bombers returned safely to Whiteman on June 22 after a flight lasting over 36 hours.
