U.S. President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein knew each other for years. From the late 1980s to early 2000s, they were seen together at social events and had mutual friends. Epstein visited Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, and flight records show that Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet a few times between 1993 and 1997.
In a 2002 magazine interview, Trump described Epstein as someone who liked women, “especially younger ones.” However, their friendship later ended. Some reports say it was due to a personal or business disagreement. Trump has since claimed he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago.
After Epstein’s arrest in 2019 on sex trafficking charges, Trump said he didn’t have a close relationship with him, adding, “I was not a fan.” His name has appeared in court documents during Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial, but no wrongdoing has been officially linked to him.
Recently, Elon Musk suggested on social media that Trump might be named in sealed Epstein-related files. Musk said this could be why the full list hasn’t been released yet. As of now, no solid proof has come out to support these claims.
