U.S. May Have Built Secret Underground Cities for the Ultra-Rich, Says Former Government Official

A former U.S. official has made a surprising claim that the U.S. government may have secretly built underground cities for the ultra-wealthy, using a massive $21 trillion in unaccounted federal spending.

Catherine Austin Fitts, who once served as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President George H.W. Bush, shared this information during an interview on The Tucker Carlson Show. She said these hidden underground facilities could be used by the rich and powerful to survive a global crisis or “near-extinction event.”

According to Fitts, between 1998 and 2015, the U.S. government may have spent over $21 trillion without proper records. This shocking amount of “unauthorized spending” was detailed in a 2017 report by Michigan State University economist Mark Skidmore. The report was inspired by Fitts herself, who pointed out that the U.S. Army had $6.5 trillion in unsupported budget adjustments in just one year—fiscal 2015.

To put it in perspective, the Army’s official budget that year was only $122 billion. That means the unverified spending was more than 50 times what was approved by Congress. In normal cases, budget adjustments are a small part of approved spending, not this massive.

Fitts said her research over the years led her to believe that these trillions were used to build around 170 secret underground bases across the U.S. Some of these, she claims, may even have high-speed transit systems running underground or under oceans.

She believes these hidden bases are meant to provide safe shelter for billionaires and powerful elites in case of a major disaster.

However, it is important to note that no official confirmation or evidence has been released by the U.S. government about these underground cities or the $21 trillion in missing funds.

This story continues to spark debate online, with many asking questions about government transparency, budget accountability, and the possibility of secret projects hidden from the public eye.
