President Trump Brokers Rwanda-Congo Peace Treaty, Says He Deserves Nobel Prize for Global Peace Efforts

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a major diplomatic breakthrough — a peace treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda, ending decades of violent conflict in Central Africa.

> “I am very happy to report that I have arranged, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a wonderful Treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Republic of Rwanda… Representatives from Rwanda and the Congo will be in Washington on Monday to sign Documents,” President Trump said in a public statement.

Calling it “a Great Day for Africa and, quite frankly, a Great Day for the World,” Trump celebrated the achievement while also highlighting his previous efforts to promote peace globally.

The president referenced his role in de-escalating major conflicts around the world, including:

Preventing war between India and Pakistan

Assisting peace efforts in Serbia and Kosovo

Maintaining stability between Egypt and Ethiopia over the Nile River issue

Leading the Abraham Accords in the Middle East

Despite these historic actions, Trump noted that he has not been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, a recognition he believes he deserves.

> “No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be. But the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!”

The Rwanda-Congo treaty is scheduled to be signed in Washington on Monday, with diplomats from both countries in attendance.

Pakistan Backs Trump for 2026 Nobel Peace Prize

Pakistan has publicly supported awarding the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize to U.S. President Donald Trump, praising his strong diplomatic role and leadership during the recent India-Pakistan crisis. In a post on social media platform X, Pakistan said Trump deserves the honor for his efforts to ease tensions in the region.

This support came shortly after Trump told reporters that he should receive the Nobel Peace Prize for several achievements — including helping reduce tensions between India and Pakistan and arranging a peace treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, which he said will be signed soon.
