Nationwide Protests Erupt Against Trump and Musk Over Job Cuts and Human Rights Issues

People across the United States are planning to gather on Saturday to protest against President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk. The protests are about concerns over government job cuts, economic issues, human rights, and more. Over 1,200 events are being organized by more than 150 groups, including civil rights supporters, labor unions, LGBTQ+ advocates, veterans, and election reform activists. These rallies will take place in Washington, DC, at state capitols, and in cities across all 50 states.

Protesters are unhappy with several actions taken by the Trump administration. These include laying off many federal employees, shutting down Social Security offices, closing entire government departments, deporting immigrants, reducing protections for transgender people, and cutting money from important health programs.
