India’s WPI Inflation Rises to 2.38% in February, Fuel Inflation Remains Negative

India’s Wholesale Price Index (WPI) inflation rose to 2.38% in February, slightly above the expected 2.36% and higher than January’s 2.31%. WPI food inflation dropped to 3.38% from 5.88%, while manufacturing inflation increased to 2.86% from 2.51%. Fuel inflation remained negative at -0.71%, but improved from -2.78% in the previous month.
