China Warns of Retaliation Against Deals That Undermine Its Interests

China has issued a strong warning to countries aligning with the United States in ways that harm its national interests. The Ministry of Commerce stated that Beijing will respond firmly if any nation makes agreements that negatively impact China.

“China firmly opposes any agreement made at the cost of its interests,” said the ministry. “If such a deal happens, China will not accept it and will take reciprocal countermeasures.”

China said it supports fair talks but strongly opposes any side deals that harm its trade rights. This comes after reports that the U.S. might give tariff relief to countries reducing trade with China. China’s Commerce Ministry warned it will respond firmly and equally if such actions go ahead, stressing it can protect its national interests as global trade tensions rise.

This statement comes amid growing global tensions and efforts by the US to strengthen alliances that may involve trade restrictions or security agreements seen as unfavorable to China.
