China Eyes Stronger Trade Ties with India Amid Shifting Global Dynamics

China has expressed a strong desire to boost trade relations with India by importing a wider range of Indian products that fit the needs of its domestic market. As the U.S. prepares to impose new tariffs, China is looking to strengthen regional economic ties, with India seen as a key partner. This message was underlined by Chinese Ambassador Xu Feihong, who emphasized Beijing’s commitment to practical trade cooperation and mutual growth.

Marking 75 years of diplomatic relations, Chinese President Xi Jinping told Indian President Droupadi Murmu that both countries should work more closely together. China is also encouraging Indian companies to explore business opportunities within its borders, aiming for a future where both nations benefit from shared development and stronger economic links.
