Mutual funds witnessed a net outflow of ₹52,948.78 crore in June 2026, according to the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) monthly report. Total funds mobilised during the month stood at ₹15,18,872.43 crore, while repurchase and redemption reached ₹15,71,821.21 crore. The industry’s total assets under management (AUM) stood at ₹82,22,480.04 crore as of June 30, 2026, with average AUM for the month at ₹84,18,485.59 crore.
Open-ended schemes recorded a net outflow of ₹50,142.35 crore. Income and debt-oriented schemes saw the biggest outflow at ₹1,09,053.65 crore, led by Liquid Funds, which recorded a net outflow of ₹42,293.29 crore. Equity-oriented schemes, however, attracted net inflows of ₹28,973.41 crore, with Mid Cap Funds receiving ₹6,090.17 crore, Small Cap Funds ₹5,601.96 crore, and Flexi Cap Funds ₹5,231.31 crore.
Hybrid schemes posted net inflows of ₹12,892.76 crore, led by Arbitrage Funds with ₹5,799.00 crore and Multi Asset Allocation Funds with ₹4,810.76 crore. Solution-oriented schemes received net inflows of ₹320.87 crore, while other schemes recorded net inflows of ₹16,724.26 crore, driven by Other ETFs, which attracted ₹13,237.76 crore, and Gold ETFs, which received ₹3,443.23 crore.
Close-ended schemes registered a net outflow of ₹2,806.43 crore, while interval schemes reported no net inflow or outflow during the month. As of June 30, 2026, the mutual fund industry had 1,945 schemes and 27,85,99,182 folios.
AMFI also reported that seven new open-ended schemes completed allotment during June 2026, mobilising ₹460 crore. These included The Wealth Company Large & Mid Cap Fund, WhiteOak Capital Aggressive Hybrid Fund, three index funds—Kotak Nifty Alpha Low Volatility 30 Index Fund, Groww Nifty Smallcap 250 Momentum Quality 100 Index Fund, and Motilal Oswal BSE Clean Environment Index Fund—along with two ETFs, ICICI Prudential Nifty Smallcap 250 ETF and Groww Nifty Smallcap 250 Momentum Quality 100 ETF.
