The benchmark index surged nearly 25% during this period.<br><br>Ten stocks\u2014Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, State Bank of India, ONGC, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, NTPC, M&amp;M, and Infosys\u2014were responsible for 50% of the 5,000-point increase in Nifty&#8217;s market capitalization. Their combined market cap rose by Rs 23.29 lakh crore, accounting for over 53% of the overall gains. Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries alone contributed over 8% each to the rally.<br><br>In contrast, the next eight stocks together contributed over 36.6% to the index&#8217;s rise. Four stocks\u2014Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints, HDFC Bank, and IndusInd Bank\u2014did not participate in this rally.
