Reliance Industries Stops Buying Venezuelan Oil After US Imposes New Tariff

Reliance Industries Ltd has decided to stop buying more crude oil from Venezuela after the United States announced a 25% tariff on countries importing oil from the South American nation. The new tariff will come into effect on April 2.

The Indian conglomerate will still receive one last shipment that is already on its way but has put future purchases on hold. The move comes as stricter trade policies and increased monitoring make Venezuelan oil less attractive for buyers.
