NSE IPO Delayed as SEBI Flags Regulatory Concerns

National Stock Exchange’s (NSE) IPO may be delayed by up to two years as SEBI has flagged governance issues, internal process gaps, and concerns over executive pay. SEBI has asked NSE to resolve these matters before proceeding with its public listing.

In a detailed letter, SEBI outlined necessary corrections and set a 24-month timeline for compliance. While there was optimism about an early IPO, the latest regulatory intervention means NSE must first meet SEBI’s requirements before moving forward.
