BHEL Wins ₹11,000 Crore Orders from Adani Power and Subsidiary

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has announced that it has signed a contract with Adani Power Ltd. and its subsidiary, Mahan Energen Ltd. This contract involves setting up three large Supercritical Thermal Power Projects.

Project Details and Locations

Each of these three projects will have a capacity of 2×800 megawatts (MW). Two of the projects will be located in Kawai, Rajasthan, and the third one will be in Mahan, Madhya Pradesh.

BHEL’s Role in the Projects

BHEL’s role will include supplying the necessary equipment and overseeing the erection and commissioning process for all three power projects. This means they will provide the technology and ensure the projects are correctly installed and operational.

Completion Timeline for Each Project

The timeline for completing these projects is set as follows: the Kawai Phase-II project should be finished in 49 months, the Kawai Phase-III project in 52 months, and the Mahan Phase-III project in 55 months.
